An antique Hanhart & Co gunmetal open face pocket watch, made in Switzerland in the 1900’s and retailed in Allahabad & Mussoorie in India.
Dial: The pearl-coloured silvered dial has blue Art Nouveau style Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued fine hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six.
Movement: The anchor lever gilt frosted movement has blued screws with compensated balance and regulator. The movement is in great working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “Hanhart & Co, Swiss Made, Allahabad & Mussoorie, No811572”.
Case: The watch lies in a gunmetal open face case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is numbered: 811572.
