Course Description: This class was developed for those who are interested in making romantic tutus using stretch materials but want to preserve more of the polished, professional quality “look” than the stretch tutus and children’s tutus currently available on the market today. Our Keyhole Back Stretch Tutu is a stretch top with a high neck and keyhole back, attached to a professional-style romantic tutu. Stretch fabric used in this class is a beautiful stretch velvet, offered in your choice of several colors. Choice of romantic skirt styles – romantic, petaled flower style, or tapered “High/Low” style.
Prerequisites: Basic Leotards and Romantic Performance Tutu Level One classes, or email detailed pictures of your work and a note detailing your experience to [email protected] to demonstrate proficiency. Students MUST have experience sewing stretch fabrics, as the techniques used in stretch sewing do have a bit of a learning curve.
