Scored by composer Ludvig Forssell, the layered synths, resonant percussion, sweeping strings, and haunting choral elements accompany the player on a journey through a fractured, post-apocalyptic America in search of human connections. All while avoiding the spectral creatures that haunt the world. Ludvig Forssell's score received major awards, including the award for Best Score/Music at The Game Awards, the award for Best Audio at the D.I.C.E. Awards, and six awards at the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.) Awards. In addition to the score, the album also features the haunting lullaby "BB's Theme", sung by Jenny Plant.
